Entry #44 day 35
Woke to a nice sunny morning after being woken up twice with rain showers. It was forecasted to be a nice day, the winds wern’t going to hurt me but they would not be helping. I did some research before this trip started and the prevailing winds should be from the North- North east, apparently the winds didn’t read the chart.
After brushing my teeth this morning I decided not to fill my Camelback in the bathroom sink, my aversion to bathroom drinking water is back. You have to admit the Chef Boyardee toiletrie cady is a nice touch, I was thinking I could use the Dove soap but I was concerned why the Q-Tip just hung there.
Got a visit from this little fella in the morning, he was disappointed at my site, I just barely had enough food to feed myself.
Said good bye to Jesus and his daughter Jessie, I enjoyed talking with him very much. We did discuss that the gentleman in the site between us hadn’t woken up yet and I called “not it” when it came to checking up on him. We saw a bunch of Iguanas in the campground befor I left.
I saw Boca Raton, but what I really wanted to see was “BOCA VISTA” maybe say Hi to the Seinfeld’s and Constanza.
I think this was the tree of Life in the Animal Kingdom, it was the biggest Banyan tree Ive ever seen.

Florida is funny, they have these beautiful canals, and beautiful beaches but they also a ton of keep out and no trespassing signs, it really is a shame, heaven forbid some tired old lady would ruin this bench by sitting on it They need a lesson on how to share down here.
This was a giant Pegasus stomping on a dragons head, I think its a historical marker to celebrate the last dragon or it was at the entrance to a casino?

I did 73 miles today , It should have been 65 miles but I saw a sign on a barrier island that said road closed, local traffic only, I figured I could get through with my bike but the construction zone was guarded by Mr T and he would not let me pass for any reason, he reminded me of the guard at Camp Lejeune.
