Entry #43 Day34

Kind of funny how things work out, Last night while I was fixing the flat on my rear tire , I was
thinking why can’t my flats be on the front tire, they would be so much easier to change. Well when I got back to the hotel my front tire was at 25 PSI so I filled it up and this morning after riding to church, I checked the pressure again and it was back to 25 PSI. I replaced the front tube with the the tube I had patched yesterday. Guess what the peel off tire patch’s suck, I hope the company that makes these patch’s don’t also make condoms because there would be a lot of surprised people. Here is a picture of St Joes.

So I continued on to Boynton Beach looking for a bike shop as I went, I kept stopping every 5 miles to add air to my tire as I went.I stopped at Jiffy lube to see if they could fill my front tire, the guy said “oh no it would blow that tire to smithreenes” Thanks for nothing Jiffy Lube, hard to believe you guys cant put 70 PSI into a tire. I found a bike shop when I hit Jupiter which made me happy I didn’t have to go all the way to Pluto. It is called Bicycle World in Jupiter. The guys here were awesome, they replaced the bad tube with a thorn proof tube due to all the Jurassic park plants that they have
down here. This is a picture of Eric and the other guy, sorry other guy that I didn’t get your name but you do good work, not like the Jiffy Lube guys.

While I was in the bike shop I got a Text from my host family informing me that they had a family emergency  and would not be.able to host me that night.I went on line and found a county campground, the reviews said that only homeless people live there, I thought perfect those are my peeps. So I continued on to my new home for the night being careful to avoid these, I thought acorns and the fruit from tennis ball trees were bad, it made me glad to be wearing a helmet.

Ooooo look a lighthouse , awww never mind It’s probably 20 bucks to climb it anyway.

I love the color of the water down here.

Pretty soon this should be my ride home probably by next weekend.

Or maybe this will be my ride home, who knows got to keep my options open.

Here is Rob he is my new neighbor for the night, on the other side of him is Jesus, they are both nice guys and I enjoyed talking to both of them. Jesus is here with his daughter Jessie.

Not a bad camp site for the night, right on the water, nice neighbors and warm showers, even though I did have to kick the shower door open to get out.
