Entry #42 Day 33

Got up early this morning, said good bye to my campground friends, one of them did not want his picture taken, which is ok. I did leave the campground with a good joke to tell, I would tell it here but there is a visual part to it so I will wait till I get back, its a good Dad joke.

Had to take a picture of this, at least the stuff on the top deck stayed dry.

This a picture of the Sebastian Inlet Campground, I wanted to stay here but it was too far to go yesterday and not far enough to go today, I was hoping for a high mileage day today.

Here is a Family from France that I met, they have been in the US since July just riding around the country, I rode with them for a few miles “Vive Le Tour”

2:30 lunch break, I ate outside for the benefit of the indoor patrons.

My first Banyan tree seen on this trip. I also saw a big black snake slither right in front of me and no Danielle it wasn’t a bungee cord. Also 2 days earlier i saw a dead black snake with orange and white stripes, you know the old adage “ see a snake black, white and Orange something ‘something something ,schmorange.

This was outside the Navy Seal Museum, looks fast, I Bet it can pull. At least 3 water skiers. I didn’t go inside because Iam sure Marti wants to See this with me. Speaking of the lovely bride, today is our
34th wedding anniversary so I want to say something romantic. To quote Pepe Le Pew “You are my peanut, I am your brittle” I guess seeing that French family got me thinking of Pepe.

It was a pretty good day until my rear tire decided to pick up this nice little souvenir, that makes flat #5 for this trip. While inspecting my tires I could not believe how many knicks and cuts they have, they just have to hold it together for another 275 miles.

Tonight I am in a hotel in Stuart FL. After an 80 mile day. I am hoping to stay at Duke’s friend’s house tomorrow in Boynton Beach if all goes well.
